The Difficulties of BDSM at Work

For quite some time now I've wanted to bring my knowledge of being a slave, being submissive (which as some of you know are two very different things), and owning slaves myself into my escort work... but the difficulties in doing so have me wondering if it's ever been done successfully before. A watered-down version seems fine for most people but true domination, true submission, takes place in the mind... How am I supposed to figure out something as complicated as a persons mind in a single meeting?
The same goes for physical boundaries... how in the world are you supposed to take responsibility for another person, or give any amount of control over to them, when you don't know their body, their warning signs, their behaviour...
what they will and won't do, what they've been dying to do but need to be ordered to complete... the true, deep reasons behind why they want what they want...
Then there's TRUST. It's always been the most important thing to me when any kind of control is given up on either side... how can there be that sort of trust between two strangers?
I truly want to share my darker side with those that have been looking for someone to understand their needs... but how to do it properly and keep everyone involved safe confounds me...
If anyone has any input on the matter I'd love to hear it, in the meantime I'll keep pondering :)
